Artist rendering of the new downtown arena

I'll have to disagree with you. I think that the new Louisville arena will look quite impressive. At any rate, it'll look much better than the old LG&E site it will replace.

I found this report on the internet you might find interesting. It's by the Downtown Development Corporation and it talks about how the new arena can best tie into other development downtown. I personally think this is a very exciting time for Louisville.

I live the part in the DDC report (unsubstantiated private corporation drivel BTW) where it says this:

“the success of fourth street live,..”

That got me rolling.
A venue with no out of state investment interests outside of the trivial franchises that rotate in and out of it like frat boys through a summer job at best buy.
Not to mention it spent it’s first quarters smearing itself in a racial profiling scandal.
Yeah, great success.

For Christ’s sake, they should at least be blowing this wad on a pro conference team of some kind. The last Collage field they burned it on didn’t haul in the returns.
Just because this one is closer to all the roads it is supposed to do better?
A turd can not be polished!
