Mike Davis Out As IU Coach

I have to hand it to Mike Davis. He handled a bad situation as well as he could Thursday. He didn't go out kicking and screaming, holding on until the bitter end. He didn't make excuses. He didn't bad mouth Indiana University or allege unfair treatment. Instead, he expressed appreciation for the opportunity and stepped aside for the good of the team.

I'd like to wish Mike Davis well in his future endeavors. He is a class act. We could use more people like him in Kentucky state politics, particullarly in the 37th district!

I caught a glimpse of him on TV saying he was leaving. Anyone is better than Knight in my book. GLad he won't be coming back.
