I don't think we need to tar and feather Rick Petino over losing one ball game. U of K would still kill to get him back but they can't have him!!!

LOL Toast, I really don't believe that Petino was even considered. UK wouldn't take him back if he was the last coach on earth.
I do think that the compensation that was thrown at Calipari probably made Petino steam.
I personally didn't want Calipari for the position but I also believe that Calipari has the motivation that Petino has lost so maybe he will be the right move. Who knows.
I'm already over the UL loss on Sunday and mad at myself for even expecting anything more out of Petino in the first place. The sweet 16 is probably the best he will muster from here on out. So with that I will agree this was a FABULOUS season and they achieved about the best they could ever do. Kudos to the number 1 regular season NCAA team and the overall number 1 seed in the tourney! Great job boys.
