I sincerely doubt that the Democrats will let go of it that easy. This really seems like a non-issue to me. Nursing home residents and otherd who live in an institutional setting are exempt as are people who vote by absentee ballot.
It seems to me that the only person who might be bothered by this ID requirement might be the morbidly obese but they're probably voting by absentee ballot any way.

I don't understand why this issue is even being debated and have yet to hear a valid argument against it. You show an ID, you vote. I have had to show an ID every single time I voted. Never gave it a second thought.
