I would love to be able to use public transportation to get to work, but just not an option that I have. And the expense of adding another auto that gets better gas mileage does not pay for itself either. Very frustrating and wondering when it will end?

Who do I contact to report gas gouging prices? The store close to me that is $.13 higher than the store down the road. What gives? I know there is a few miles between,but the other stations arent that high yet. Is there anything that can be done? This sounds crazy to be griping about $.13, but hey $.13 is $.13 ! It adds up if you fill your tank . I cant believe that I pay upwards of 60 dollars to fill my tank with gas!!!!!!!

I hate to burst you bubble, Angel, but there's no law that says that every gasoline retailer has to have the same price as other gasoline retailers in the immediate area. If that was the case, no one could ever change their prices unless they got on some sort of a conference call and did so in unison.

Kentucky does have a law on the books that says that gasoline retailers can not take advantage of natural disasters here or elsewhere to raise gasoline prices to exorbitant levels. The legality of the law is currently being challenged, I understand. There’s no hurricane or other natural disaster that has happened recently that would invoke this untested law.
