I agree!!! Can you say SCAM!!! I mean, think about it. First, the girl was 18...old enough to have known that something wasn't right about what was happening...especially when the spanking/sexual abuse started (heck, even 4-5 year olds know that inappropriate "touching" is not okay). However, in her defense, let's say she was naive enough to have fallen for the strip search part of it...it is the stuff to occur after the initial strip search that makes no sense whatsoever as to why she let it go on...or why any of them let it go on without checking out the 'caller'. Second, whether McDonalds told the manager(s) about this "hoax" or not, common sense tells you that what the 'hoax caller' was telling them to do was NOT right. The manager nor her boyfriend were teenagers and WERE old enough to know better! Third, and just why was the manager's boyfriend involved AT ALL??? He shouldn't have been in that room, period! Fourth, sexual abuse is NEVER, EVER, EVER okay REGARDLESS of who, what, where, when of the circumstances and if nothing else made sense, surely to God when it got to THIS point, one of them should have said, "Huh...now wait a minute...". Of course, for what the manager's boyfriend got out of it, I bet he wasn't stopping it!!! Puh-leeze! At what point does people take responsibility for their own culpability???Bottom line...McDonald's has money and they saw a quick way to make a lot of money without having to accept responsibility for their own actions or inactions.
