How about this... Maybe that retired cop is just a very disgruntled person and doesn't feel he needs to obey any sort of correct traffic pattern because he was a cop. When the ex-cop got to that intersection he didn't care who had the right of way because he was an ex-cop. The ex-cop cut in front of someone, an yelling match ensued, and the cop felt it necessary to shoot somebody because he was enraged. Sound like a reasonable explanation of the events to me, but hey what do I know? I wasn't there. Were any of you?
