From the looks of the returns so far, it seems King Abramson hasn't been able to pull the wool over the eyes of the voters. This is despite the fact that he had a slick and misleading ad campaign following a deceptive ballet measure.

I was wondering the same thing, GRXPH. It is probably a drop in the bucket compared to the $16.5 million they have had to manage, but indicative of how poorly they have managed what they had.

Hopefully, we can put through a real plan to improve the libraries now. I'm sure the voters would go for something that would not be a tax forever. I never minded the idea of paying something for improvement, I would just like the money tied directly with library only projects.

Plus, after this insult I'd really like to get rid of Abramson.

I still stand that the new arena money should have went for the Libraries. I will use the library before going to the arena and I am not alone on that. Yeah yeah we needed a new arena but we also need the libraries fixed so which should have came first? Thank you!
