No one is calling you a racist, let me be more specific.
If you have not been watching the news, the KKK has shown up to protest at every issue over Prayer in School that they can arrive at.
They were in Shelby county at my own high school in 06' throwing eggs at students and passing out flyers in the hallways with colorful words like “nigger” and “towel heads” in them. When you take up a crazy issue, you have to take into account the people you will be bedding with. This exposes our children to things we would not want in our public schools. Is that freedom?
None of the students who were in favor of school prayer at Shelby County were racist either but there they were in a nice juicy picture with dumbfounded looks on their faces, standing in a croud with KKK and Neo-Nazi banners all around them. It went out on the AP and plenty of damage was done to Kentucky in general. That will stick with each of those students for their entire lives as well. That in 2006 there was a huge gathering of racists outside a public school and each of them was with those people clear as day.

When has prayer gone illegal?
Who is wishing for anything ,other than for people to use some common sense in what to spend money on, some of that 1 million dollars has come from MY pocket and I dont care to have it spent on foolish studing about grown men who like to dress up as women. Good grief, spend my portion of the 1 million on something that will benefit all of society not just some man who like to pretend.
Prayer is not illegal but specified prayer in public institutions is. I DO NOT agree with the study they are allocating these funds for. As I said, it is a waste of time and money and it is also a forum for more of the typical gay bashing in areas like this. People should be more Christian and more open minded. That kind of thinking often averts large institutions from being able to allocate funds for a useless study. You don’t see UW firing up a transgender study with the public coffers. of course, even if they did Wisconsin isn't in an economic funk like Kentucky so it wouldn't be as bad.

And what is wrong with a child who wants to pray in school to be able to pray ? Oh, it might offend some who dont believe in God? Get over it. You said FREEDOM ? If that freedom is hindered,it isnt freedom.
It does not offend those who believe in god, it offends those who believe in a different god or another form of faith all together. The issue of open prayer was offered to Shelby county if they wanted to pray at their graduation BUT because of our constitutional rights and the establishments of the first Amendment, that would mean ALL faiths would have to be represented so long as just ONE person of that faith was in attendance and a majority of all in attendance agreed to an open forum of faith in this PUBLIC school.
When the Shelby county school board heard that they would have to set aside TWO HOURS for prayers from Muslim, Buddhist, Baptist, Mormon, Catholic, Native American and even the SATANIC CHURCH before they could even begin, they opted to drop the subject all together.
There are places for specified faith and education to co-exist in America, they are called private schools and my tax money does not dump into them despite weather the faith they represent is not my own. THAT is Freedom.
Thems the facts.
I am not trolling you, this is a debate and a good one at that, French is just a hateful person with a grudge.
