I didn't realize Scott Reynolds had a conservative slant. Not one question about the single biggest issue - Mark Foley and the GOP leadership cover-up? Really? Does Anne support him, still? Would she vote for him again?

I guess they don't think we should care about this.

It's not that they don't care about this topic, they just want us to forget about it.
I would like to hear something else from Anne Northup besides attacks and offhand references about Yarmuth. Doesn't she have anything to say about the thousands that have died in Iraq or the declining economy across this nation?
What do we see in our city that she has accomplished?

Foley is out of office permanently.
As for the so called scandal lets take a look at it.
So far all that has happened is that Foley has sent inappropriate and admittedly disgusting messages to some pages.
He did have sex with one apparently after he left the page system and after he turned 21.
Foly committed no crime and resigned. There is nothing to vote for because he is in FLORIDA. Thus the absurdity of the idea that Northup would support him in anything.
I am NOT trying to make excuses here... I am asking for fairness.
Foley is a poor excuse for a human being, however when a Democrat does worse everyone ignores it.
One Congressman in Massachusetts was convicted of having sex with a page and Massachusetts reelected him.
Another Democrat was caught and put in Jail. Clinton Pardoned him and Jesse Jackson appointed him to the board of the Rainbow Coalition... so what did he hire him to do...
YOUTH MINISTER.
It is all perception and what you care about.
The perception I get is that the News Media does not care one whit about the exploits of democrats and only get upset when a conservative strays off the path of righteousnous, because they do not agree with the policies of conservatives.
As Ms. Northup would say..Hypocritical.

Thousands.. 2800 so far.
Fewer than died in most battles of World War 2.
Fewer than died as I recall on 9-11.
People like you are what Ossama Bin Laden talks about. Americans have no desire to fight or to die for freedom.
The battle for Iraq is how we prove we will stand up to him, and his like. Leave Iraq, and we WILL never end the terror. This is not Hitlers army we are fighting. These guys do not hang out together in one country so you can kill them all with one battle or war. They hang out where they can kill Americans and do so because they believe and rightfully so in the case of the Ultraliberals among us that America will not fight and die for its freedom or that of others. They look at our experience in Viet Nam and they know all they have to do is kill a few soldiers and people like you will scream for the end of the war in Iraq.
Want Proof? The violence in Iraq went up before the last election, it went up again during this election run up. The Terrorists are voting for you.
What do you want Northup to say.. We goofed, lets leave and prove Ossama Bin Laden Right?
It takes courage to fight. All of our soldiers are volunteers, and you make it harder to win the war when you complain and post doubts about the war in public.
In World War 2 we used every available asset including public opinion to win. Our Democratic Goverment always found something for us to hang on to and believe we could win. The press in this country is not attempting to find the good in this. I have friends who have been to Iraq and relatives. All tell me that most Iraqi's are glad we invaded. Most have things now that they did not have because US Forces have repaired or replaced old systems that Sadam had neglected to enrich himself or to punish local shiites.
As for the DECLINING ECONOMY? Where do you live. The DOW just hit a record high 3 times this week. Unemployment among College Graduates is 2% the lowest in HISTORY, and the Deficit created by the war on terror has been cut by 50% in 2 years.
Lower taxes have jump started the economy. More money in the hands of the people and corporations means more investment in more jobs.
Denial is not a river in Egypt, apparently it is the main TRUTH that the press touts in Louisville.
As for the things that Northup's brought up in her ads.. they are issues.
I do not want Marijuana Legalized
I do not agree with abortion
I believe in ownership of guns and I am not an ignorant Red Neck as Mr. Yarmuth has called people like me.
I hunt and fish. I take my kids hunting and fishing as well as neices and nephews. None has ever been violent or committed a crime and my children had scholarships to college.
Northup is bringing up legitimate issues.
Mr. Yarmuth said he would stand by his editorials.
NOW MY QUESTION: What are Yarmuth's qualifications other than being RICH for being a congressman?

The war in Iraq is not World War II or a war on terrorism. It is a war that President Bush created on his own by lying to the American people about weapons of mass destruction. Somehow, republicans seem to forget this.
And unless you are extremely wealthy, this so-called great economy you boast about hasn't trickled down to me as yet! This economy is great for the wealthy investors etc. but for the average working class, it SUCKS!
So, if you vote for any republican on November 7th, remember one thing. You are either extremely wealthy and could care less about the rest of us (this is the republican agenda) or you are incredibly STUPID!
