I can't help but think that if David Camm
wasn't guilty, he ought to have tripped out by now. First you lost your wife and kids and then you were put on trial and wrongly sent to prison. As a former Indiana State Trooper, I can't imagine that he ever feels very safe. After seeing the videos of his initial questioning before he was formally charged, however, I'm inclined to see him as a manipulative b@stard. Rather that being shocked that he was being accused, he seemed to be angry that the authorities were even looking at him.
CBS 48 Hours recently reran the show detailing the David Camm / Charles Boney saga and it just reminded me of what a bizarre case it really has been. If the judge and prosecution had done a better job with the first trial, Charles Boney might not have ever been charged. If the Indiana State crime lab had tested the DNA on the shirt found by Brad's body in a timely manner, however, Charles Boney might have been the sole suspect. As a convicted felon, his DNA would have been on file and they would have gotten a quick match.
