American Woman,
That is quite o.k.
It is all about supporting our Troops. When they look toward home, they need to see the candles burning in the windows.
If you don't mind me asking, how do you support our troops?
Do you speak up on their behalf, do you shake their hand when you see them? Or write letters or send packages? Blue Star Moms always takes donations if you are interested in giving.
We are not a political or religious group. We are all about supporting our troops, our vets and providing support and encouraging the families left behind, while promoting patriotism.
I proudly display my 2 Star Blue Star Banner in my front window.
I proudly go up to any person in uniform or any vet I see and thank them for serving our country.
Their look of surprise is amazing, but their smile is such a reward.
God Bless You American Woman.
Like I said, you don't have to support the president. It isn't about that.
We need to be here for our soldiers.
Thanks for your response.
Have a Blessed Day!

My father runs his VFW(I say his because he's in charge). He goes to meetings in DC to make sure the veterans are not being screwed over. I help him send packages to wherever they need to go.

Greetings American Woman,
Thank your father for me for serving his country and please give him a hug for me. Also, thank you so much for helping him send packages. Did you hear about Louisville getting a new Veterans Medical Center? It's about time. It is so frustrating that our VETS have to go through so much to get so little.
