Yea kittyman so did mine, the gas mileage that is. The focus I had was a 2000 model. That thing was a piece of junk. I did not even have it a month, had not even paid the first payment, when the ignition went out on us and stranded us in Lexington. There was a recall on the backdoor latches,on the front springie things by the front tires that holds the car up.Oh ,and the left one broke on me and my son and left us stranded in Danville one night. The ignition had to be replaced i think 3 times . And three eof the windows would not roll up,they just layed in the botom of the door. Maintence? I needed to just put a whole new car on the tires !!! But it did get great gas mileage. Oh, and my heater would work only if you sat still, the air worked half-way. Maintence? Thats a laugh ! I contacted a lawyer and there was nothing I could do about the car, lemon law, because being that I was the first person to have ever owned the car, it still was considered a used car, because the dealer ship used the car. So the lemon law did not apply. Maintence? I still think you are funny saying that, because you wouldnt even think that if the car had been yours.

From what I can determine with some quick research, a car doesn't have to be 'used' to fall under Kentucky's lemon law. I would have tried a different attourney. It's strange how almost every car model and make has postings on the internet of individuals who will swear that this make and this model is just no good. A different internet search will often turn up raves for the same make and model. I take you at your word when you say that you had a bad experience with the Focus. Hope you enjoy very little trouble with your Jimmy.
