Judge rules in favor of dry cleaner in multimillion-dollar suit over missing pants

This guy (who was an administrative law judge himself) sue this cleaners business initially for $67 million, later reducing his demands to $54 million. The judge, Judith Bartnoff, threw out the suit as being unreasonable and order the guy to pay the cleaner's court costs.

Justice prevails. Yay! Big Grin

The judge who filed this frivolous lawsuit should be removed from his judge's seat and if he is an attorney, disbarred.... shameful!

Man Who Sues Dry Cleaners for $54 Million May Have Lost More Than His Pants

There's a move afoot to try and do that.

"The Washington Examiner reports D.C.'s chief administrative judge has written to the three-person commission that will decide whether Roy Pearson is reappointed — and said Pearson does not deserve another 10-year term. That reverses his earlier recommendation in favor of Pearson.

A D.C. government source tells the paper: "My sense is that the commission will not reappoint him.""

How could a judge be so stupid? Roll Eyes
