These teachers used VERY poor judgement. I think their intentions were good. I don't think they engaged in this drill seeking thrills. They were trying to help and went about it all the wrong way.

I do. We all know if some parents had done this to those teachers they'd be in jail.

Yea well Zoo neither did the woman who bought coffee from McDonalds,spilled it on herself and sued and won. THAT was a stupid lawsuit.
And I agree with you on the teachers using poor judgement. I also understand ,maybe, what they were trying to do. But they did do it the wrong way .Sue them? For what? Oh ,but wait, some leachie lawyer looking to make big bucks will snap this up ,if he hasnt already.

exactly my point, Angel.
I would like to sue the parents of the student who broke my finger when I was a teacher. It was a very tramatic experience for me. I could not longer teach after that, destroyed my entire career plans.They did not bring him up properly.
I would like to sue the person who insulted me last week. I had such a miserable day, my self esteem was damaged, that should be worth something.
I would like to sue the weather man who forecasted a tornado and had me hiding scared in my basement for 2 hours. I missed a beautiful sunset as a result.
I would like to sue the doctor who told me 2 years ago that I had 6 months to live. I am still here but I went through 2 weeks of total agony until I could get a proper diagnosis.
I would like to sue..... it goes on and on.....

All this talk reminds me of the knock-off song 84 WHAS's Terry Meiners plays on his show just prior to talking about outrageous lawsuits.

People today have no common sense at all anymore it seems. They seem to be as stupid and lazy as the day is short anymore. I just get so tired of all the excuses from people, just not responseable at all nor are they accountable for anything they say and /or do. And we wonder what is wrong with the children today !!!!! Good grief, just look at the adults ! Think the children are going to turn out good by the examples we have today? I think not.
