I thought to myself after reading this,HOW do they expect the students not to be stupid if they are?
Also did they think about the FACT this could scare them so bad they didn't want to go back to school???
Then there's the FACT had a parent decided to see just how well the teachers are prepared for such a thing, pulled an empty gun on them, how would they feel?
That parent would pass go,not collect $200.00 and go right to jail.

I agree that it was poor judgment on the staff`s role in this. But given light of what is going on in the world today, we need to teach our children ,still though they could have done this a little bit different. Like for one thing to notify all parents of what was happening and give the children a clue as to what was going on also. You dont just up and scare the living daylights out of a bunch of middle school children and let them think they are going to be killed by a mad crazy gun toting nutcase !I dont know about suing the school or the teachers, but I agree that they went about this the wrong way.How can you prepare for something like this? Tornados, earthquake drills, fire drills etc etc,, you can try to drill on . Maybe act out the scenario, see what you may or may not can do. But when someone is pointing a gun at you ,I imagine every thought leaves your mind anyway.I see the concern of the teachers wanting to try to prepare the students, but,,,,,,,,,,,
Joshua 24:15,,,but as for me and my house,we will serve the Lord.
