Marijuana is a Naturally Grown Plant, or weed. Whatever. I want to know why is it Illegal? Is it because it is mind altering? So is Alcohol. And the Government makes Thousands from Alcohol sales in this country a year. Alcohol is man made and mind altering. Why is it not Illegal? Why is a man made mind altering substance not illegal but a NATURALLY GROWN PLANT IS????

The government couldn't make enough of it to make it legal because anyone can grow it. They can make more off it by busting dealers and taking the cash from them. They make it legal and the price would go down and they would lose the money they get of drug busts because of marijuana being legal. I am basing this on if it were made legal for the average Joe and no "for medicinal purposes only".
Yeah I guess you're right. But it still makes no sence. It's like congress saying okay from here on out Rose Bushes are Illegal. I Just don't get it.? I wanna be able to sit on my porch and puff one down if I want to and not worry about it. But anyways. It shouldn't be wrong to smoke it.
