I am heart broken by reading these repeat "random" shootings. However, how many times do we have to hear that these people are good people but pleaded guilty or found guilty of drug involvement in their recent past? Why is it that Christopher 2x can't accept the fact that "good" people are not drug traffickers or dealers.
Why is it that the African American community is willing to accept that these "random" murders are not random and are related to the activities these individuals partake in?
Quit blaming other people for our problems. Take responsibility for your actions. Child molesters can't blame someone else for their actions even if they are "good" people. Serial killers can't blame other people even if they are "good" people.
Why do we accept when people like Christopher 2x say someone was a good person even though they pleaded quilty to drug trafficking two months ago.
It blows my mine that we allow the phrase "good person" to acquit a person of a illegal involvment or crime.
The bad part is, I am a caucasion male and this post will get labeled as a racist post. This is the unfortunate part, if it's not an african american point of view then remember that a white man can't relate.
I simply ask all individuals, answer the questions above truthfully, provide the answers to my email account at martman100@insightbb.com. I will personally respond. I believe that if we answer these truthfully we can see the answers.
And please don't tell me that in two months a person is "healed". For I know better, I have been involved with drug addicts and alcoholics, and two months you may be clean but you are not healed. Furthermore, being clean does not make you a "good" person.
I am working on the statistics of murders in the Louisville Metro area to help provide information on where the murders are occurring and how we (community) can stop them. But keep in mind it is not anyone else's responsibility, except your own to change the neighborhood for which you live.
Cowardness never brought freedom to the United States of America, so why should it bring fear to our streets.

Oh lord... I'm sure the city council will say we need more stringent dog laws.

not to mention reinstituting the smoking ban. That and dogs are no doubt responsible for all the city's ills. Or at least you would think that is the case given the amount of time they have spent on those issues. Keep in mind, the city could not or would not enforce the leash laws that were already on the books, so creating more accomplishes what???? And where to smoke should be left up to the business owner.
And people in the neighborhoods where these horrendous murders are happening need to stop hiding under the bed when it comes time to tell the police what they know. If you are a witness or you know something it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to step up.

A lot of people have decided to go across the river to bars, bowling alleys, and restaurants where they are still allowed to smoke. If anything, the smoking ban needs to be a city wide ban including all public areas. Why? Because most criminals smoke, therefore they'd have to go to indiana to be able to smoke while they kill people.
Just quit smoking.... geez. U know it would be good for u.

well congratulations citizens of "the Ville". We have set a record for crime rate since the metro council club was created.
But on the bright side, no smoking in public places and drastic reduction in entries at the Louisville AKC dog shows due to the uneducated councils revised dog laws.
Oh and how could I forget! A new arena! I think it is time to take a look at priorities....
Yes, much to be proud of!
