Who cares about Park Community Credit Union. What does matter is that family and friends have lost a loved one due to the mother . My opinion, they should have had enough respect to wait a bit, but things do go on and people do care more about the lining of their own pocket than yours. Enough said on the subject. Now back to the original topic, why did she kill the children? I dont catch the news all that much so I havent heard.Gosh I cant even imagine what would possess a mom to do that to her own children. She must be mental for even considering such an act.

The father was deceased, and according to the article: quote: In the Metro Police report, the officer writes "the mother of the victims made a statement to an informational witness that the children were sent home to be with their dad." WAVE 3 has learned that witness is a counselor for UofL Psychological Services.
As for the Park Community Credit Union... personally i don't see a problem with the timing on taking the vehicle back if she was already delinquent on the payments. That part wasn't clear in the article posted here, only that she had filed bankruptcy twice before and had already paid $15,000+ on a $21,000 vehicle if I remember correctly. I would love to know what the ruling was on their attempt to take it if she wasn't behind on the payments. There's a possibility she could arrange to have friends or family continue to make payments. Due process says she's innocent until proven guilty in court; I think acting on the presumption that she's going to be in jail a long time assumes guilt. Although there's little question in my mind she did it, I believe she's still claiming she's not guilty of killing her kids. I think Park Community is seeing the opportunity to take back a vehicle that was almost paid off and resell it before arrangements can be made by family members to make good on the contract. But if she was already behind on payments... they were well within their rights, day of funeral or not imo.

I think I did.I dont remember. There are so many links to click on in a topic and ,remember, I have dial-up so it takes ages to even get it to come up. I will suggest to all to make it a little easier for the ones of us who still have dial-up to just post a portion of the said link so I ,or others, can read the most important part. That would be most appreciated.
