This is a child not even in middle school. A primary student should not have to be man handled to get them to behave. Had he taken the time to talk to the child he would have realized the boy had permission to wear the hat, instead he attacked the boy and bruised his neck. I think it would have taken quite a bit of force to make a bruise. He made a mistake and it could have cost this boy his life (the choking could have killed him if he crushed his tracea or something). We can not have school officials that cause our student bodily harm. If this man had been working in a factory and caused another person bodily harm due to an attack he would be fired after a three day suspensen, in most cases. I would not want my children at a school where he was in charge.
My point is look how petty the situation of wearing a hat is. I might be able to grasp him having to grab the kid maybe in a hurry by his neck if there was a fight that needed broken up,but that was not the case. There's only 2 reasons I feel they should be touched: The student is having health issues(Needs CPR,....) or there's a fight to be broken up. Otherwise there's no reason to touch anyones child(ren).
