Hi everyone. I'm cutting and pasting a lot of good info that everyone posted in our previous comments section.
I'm sorry if your comment doesn't appear here and about the formatting, but there was no automated way to migrate the previous posts to this new forum, which will suit everyone's purposes much more efficiently.
Thanks again everyone for all the good ideas. Keep 'em coming!

http://www.homesolutionsnews.us/offers.shtml They provide Qs for cleaning supplies, personal care, and some food items.
Johnson's & Johnson's makes soap for kids called Johnson's Buddies. They are in an orange package, and they are sold among the rest of the baby wash/care section. At Walmart and Target, they sell for $0.97. At Kroger, they are $1.09. Usually you can find links online to print off $1.00, $2.00, or $3.00 off coupons on ANY Johnson's brand products. That means, you can use those coupons for free ($0.03 money making) soap at Walmart or Target, or $0.09 soap at Kroger. Plus, if you buy 3 of the soaps at Kroger, you will get a Catalina printout coupon (those things that print out with your receipt), for $3.00 off ANY Johnson's. That means more cheap soap at Kroger the next time you shop there!
I've got a big stockpile of these things, and my kid loves them!
Here are two links to print coupons, but I'm not really sure if they still work. Worth a try for free/cheap soap though!

Supposedly if you buy their Ritz crackers on sale 2 for $5.00, you get one gallon of Meijer brand milk for free!
If you pair that up with the $2 off 2 Ritz, Wheat Thins, or Triscuit coupon from the 01-25 Smart Source Insert. That means two boxes of crackers and a gallon of milk for $3.00!
Kathy says:Yesterday, 12:08:21 PM“Do you find it saves more to do your grocery shopping once a month and really stock up or go every week? I have been doing the once a month thing for the past few months (since I hate going to the store) - though it is exhausting to hit three different grocery stores in 1-2 days I feel like I have done pretty well. This past weekend I saved $106 with coupons alone with a total savings of $233 combining my coupons with the sales. Seems like between Kroger/Walmart and Meijer I can pretty much load up on all types of meat and stuff needed. Except for milk/bread I wont have to go again for 6-7 weeks. But I am not sure if I am really getting the best bang for my buck by doing it this way.
Any thoughts?
Emilie replies:Yesterday, 12:25:03 PM“I go weekly and 'cherry pick' through each store. This week, I'm not too impressed with any sale going on, so I don't really need to stock up on anything. Last week, however, I stocked up on 10 packages of Gorton's fish at Krogers. After their sale and coupons, I paid $1.69 a box. That will feed our family for the next several months. By the time we run out, they should be on sale again. If I had a deep freeze, I would have bought another 10 boxes at that price. They normally run $4-$6 a box! Yikes!
The key is to stock up on the items you will use at their cheapest price. I stocked up on Ragu a month ago too at $0.78 a jar.
Way to go with your savings of $233.00! That's awesome!
Emilie says:Yesterday, 10:36:29 AM“If you have kids in diapers (like myself), use Pampers diapers, and don't feel like just cleaning up your little angels' blowouts are rewarding enough, there is the Gifts To Grow program from Pampers.
Look on the plastic that the Pampers diapers are wrapped in. You should find a little green and white sticker that has a long code on it. This is a code you can enter at
www.pampers.com. Make yourself an account, and follow the links to the Gifts To Grow program. Start entering your codes, and watch your points (slowly but surely) accumulate.
Usually 100 points guarantees you something worthwhile to 'purchase' with your points. Everytime I've cashed in mine, I go for the gift cards or the coupon for a package of free diapers. Granted, the prizes do change often, so don't get your hopes up over one specific prize.
The gift cards and coupons are shipped for free. Any of the toys or books you see available cost you shipping and handling. The shipping and handling is on the high side, so, in my opinion, totally not worth it.

We do some camping and I have enough shampoo samples and soap samples that I can pack those. They take less room as well. I get free cereal, deorderant, sticky pads, and diapers. They are worth taking the time. I even got a coupon for a free bottle of shampoo the other day.
Some of the offers will have a page full of items to click on in order to get your free samples. I dont do those, my time is worth something. I just click to the ones that ask for my address and e-mail address. I have an e-mail account set up for just using these samples. I would be happy to post free samples here or give you the web sites I use. I have to main ones. I would be happy to share.
Its fun to open the mail box and see a box inside. Almost like Christmas. LOL
Emilie replies:2 days ago, 11:15:27 PM“Yes, totally agree! I've started doing this too. And, I set up a seperate email account to have all that kind of mail sent to.
Two other sites worth mentioning are
www.mypoints.com, and
www.swagbucks.com. You can accumulate points and redeem them for gift cards and such. I just started myself, but am already halfway to a Target gift card.
Carrie says:2 days ago, 9:15:22 PM“I clip coupons and use them, but I do not know how to save more than I spend. How do people save more than they spend. I am not stupid but need extra help.
Kari says:2 days ago, 9:35:42 PM“Carrie - The key to saving more than you spent is to pair coupons up with the best sales. Once you've shopped at a store regularly for a while, you pretty much probably have a good idea of what is the best sale on a product. Use your coupon when that item is on sale at its best price. If you use a coupon to buy an item at regular price, you aren't really saving much, unless it is something you would have purchased anyway, coupon or no coupon. If you need extra help pairing coupons up with sales or just want a good example, try out TheGroceryGame.com. For $1 you can try it out for a month at all of the stores in the area, including Kroger, Meijer, Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens.
palmyraboxers replies:2 days ago, 10:19:02 AM“Here is a good HINT for all of you that are not pleased with the coupons that are being offered right now. The websites that put out coupons always reset there coupon list the FIRST of every month. So there will be more grocery coupons out there at the first of the month. They do select a limit that they want to be allowed to print out. When that has been reached they take it off the list till next month or to be released again at a later date.
So don't worry the first of the month is coming up soon and alot more grocery coupons will be there.

I was told by the cashier that I couldn't use the coupons from the EasySaver book and the manufacturer's coupons. She was told not to do that anymore by a manager. Evidently, the coupons in the ES book say manufacturer's coupon on them. I don't know if all the stores will go to this or not. The cashier also works at the Hikes Lane store, and she told me that they were doing the same thing. Guess I better stick to my normal stores!

Emilie replies:4 days ago, 9:14:59 AM“I wish WAVE 3 would do an investigation on Walgreens. They seem to like to make up their own policies at each store, and not follow what the corporate coupon policy is. You shouldn't have to wander all over town to find a Walgreens that will take your coupons. I got burned like that on the Garnier deal at the Hillview WAGS. They were down right nasty to me, and swiped my coupons out of my hands. I took them back, went to the ones in Jtown, Shepherdsville, and Mt Washington without any trouble. I even asked the cosmetics cashiers at the Jtown and Mt Washington stores if I could stack my coupons, and they said ABSOLUTELY. Just wanted to hear from their mouths that what I was doing was perfectly ok.
Emilie says:5 days ago, 10:05:54 AM“WAVE 3 - Any chance the Coupon Club is going to have its own message board, complete with forums? It would really be helpful for all to have a place where we can post LOCAL deals, maybe have coupon clipping parties, classes, and trading. It would also be great to show local charities, and what donations they are needing right now. If there are over 800 people signed up for this Coupon Club already, just imagine how much we could donate!
