Man, it was nice today. I was ringing the bell for the Salvation Army today and it was great to see all the sunshine and feel the breeze. Did anyone get the chance to take the day off and completely enjoy it???

Since I've been furloughed from the U.S. Census Bureau, I've been volunteering for the Salvation Army. I've got the premium location at Krogers in Jeffersonville. That store allows us to ring between the two sets of doors which isn't warmer but doesn't have the wind chill factor of standing outside. I hope to go back to the Census Bureau in January. There should be lots of work to get done in preparation for the 2010 decennial.
