Ive noticed that there are Mayflies everywhere. Is it because of all the wet weather we have been having?

I don't think so. Mayflies mate in early spring. They only live 30 minutes to 24 hours. Mate lay eggs and die! Good fishing time!

They don't die quickly enough for me. Pesky little critters. Thankfully my cat thinks they're good eating.

Wish my cat would go for them.

I remember one weekend at Dale Hollow last June where they were EVERYWHERE! Covered the docks, boats, it was a mess!
