It's way beyond time for parents to start making their children take responsibility for themselves. At 26 he should KNOW better! My gosh people my 8 year old daughter KNOWS BETTER!!! NO EXCUSES! Just once in this world I want to read where a parent says I love my son/daughter but he/she is a screw up and I tried to warn him/her this is strongly possible if he/she doesn't walk the straight line,but he/she didn't listen so now he/she should pay the price.

That to me says this parent did all he or she could and that screw up isn't their fault.

He's just dang lucky it wasn't one of my children he killed. I'm tired of that BRAT a few houses over who runs the neighborhood from 8am-midnight and then when he or she gets their little butts into some trouble their parent(s) then want to come storming over like they are interested in what is going on. HOW ABOUT YA CHECK IN ON THEM WAY BEFORE THEN???!!!

OMG lady who is the adult and who is the kid??? If you can't control your child how in the heck do you control your own life? Maybe it's the pattern here? It starts at home. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know the first thing about being a parent. CONTROL yourself and your children. Have total control over you and yours. If you don't then do not cry to the news or anyone else how your child was so misunderstood and is such a darling.

I just don't even know what I was say to those little kids mother. I am angry as heck for her. How she's going to suffer for so long. Feel all alone. How will she wake up every day? How can she heal? This is all so wrong.

I have family member who is involved with a major loser. Drugs, abusive, you name it. But she keeps telling me what a "good person he is". I really think that some of these mothers, wives and girlfriends are just so screwed up that they don't know what "good" is.
This guys is NOT a good boy. Major history of crime, running from the law.... I don't even understand why they have set bail for him! And why wasn't he already in jail for being a persistant felon??? Oh wait, there was a warrant out for him on that. At this point, he needs to be locked up and left there. He has had ample chances and has blown it.
