Two children killed by fleeing driver near the U of L campus

I understand that these girls were with an older woman (presumably their mother or grandmother). It's sad that the girls are both dead but sadder still that some person had to witness this carnage up close.

My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family. So sad.

Amen! What a tragedy and all because all that person could do was think of himself and saving his own skin.

This is so senseless.This should never happened. That adult should have taken responsibility for his actions that led to the police stop,instead of running like a scared animal. He will have to live with the knowledge of killing two innocent children the rest of his life. Gosh, I cant even begin to imagine what the families are going thru,especially the mother that was with her child when this happened. I pray for peace of mind for them all .

Just Terrible!!!! (sigh)

Glad to see they caught the guy... but it does not bring back the little girls or relieve the pain and suffering of their family and friends.
