I heard about Tim Russert last night as I watched the evening news at 6:30. They dedicated the whole half hour of national news to him. I was deeply touched by this by NBC. Each time he spoke I took a moment to listen to his words...much knowledge concerning politics...his commentary was always entertaining as well as direct, eloquent and articulate. Fifty eight is too young...

Luke Russert's eulogy of his father (video)

Luke Russert (Tim Russert's son) gave a tremendous eulogy at his father's memorial. He received a standing ovation from the crowd and my feeling is that he earned it.

Perhaps in a decade or two, Luke might want to take over Meet the Press, whatever format it may possess. Smiler

Wait, Russert was a Journalist who has debunked and exposed every wrong doing of the Bush Administration, was offered up by Scooter Libby in the CIA leak scandal, he coined the term “red and blue” states, grilled **** Cheney into the corner on television over bad intelligence and manipulative administration of intel gathering, because of his CIA leak scandal involvement neo-conservative pundits Ann Culter and Rush Limbaugh were calling him a “traitor” and to top it off he was a left leaning registered Democrat.
Are you telling me that you have been cyberstalking and flaming me based on the SAME EXACT political ideals as a person you revere for his professionalism?!
There are neo-cons out there right now still trying to drive Russert’s name into the dirt over the Libby scandal.
How do you honestly feel about that Toast?
Would you say they are wrong for saying these things about him?

I think he was a good person and one of the most Responsible journalists in America because he never omitted the truth or was biased in any way.
From what you have said, I assume that you agree with that.

You start off by saying something inflammatory like this and you wonder why people call you a troll. Roll Eyes
