I havent seen to many people being critical of anyone who went to his church.

Two points...

1. You're comparing Mike Duke's actions before he became a minister to what Wright said while he was a minister. Apples to apples would be if Mike Duke was stabbing people while preaching, what would it say about his followers? Now apply that train of thought to those sitting in the audience at Wright's church.

2. Nobody from Mike Duke's church is running for president.

Bush did cokaine, went awol and did buisness with the Bin Ladden family before he became president.
Romney was nearly the RNC choice and no one in the party gave him any crap about beleiving in a racist text.
I don't see to many people having a problem with that.

That was just ONE example.
I notice you have completely ignored the other two.
What about those bribes Bush has been giving the militias in iraq?
If that reads as ok in your book then how exactly is it any worse when Barack only went to this guy's church?
Bush was getting bin ladden money before he was running stock scams and putting oil companies out of business and NOW he is putting his faith AND our tax dollars in the pockets of religious fanatics.

Is THAT supposed to be "Apples and oranges"?

That was just one example which you're now trying to sweep under the rug because it slam dunks your analogy. Before you move on to random, blah blah blah of trying to substitute every topic under the sun instead of dealing with the real issue, STAY ON TOPIC for once and deal with the Obama issue.

It doesn't matter what Bush did, or Reagan, or anybody else, or bribes in Iraq, or UFO's or unicorns. The topic is: Obama was actively involved in this church while Wright was pastor.

I don't think this means he'll be a bad president, but I do think it shines a very unflattering light on both his convictions and judgement. McCain is simply a better choice imo.

Shhh... he's unintentionally going to split the democratic vote to help McCain win. Big Grin Big Grin

Go Nader! The REAL democrat!

I don't care how McCain wins just so long as he does. Maybe that'll make Justin up and leave the U.S. for good! Smiler Smiler Smiler
