Aside from the violence that has happened in times past, I dont see a problem with allowing people,no matter the color of the skin, to show off their cars. But have it in a place where they have to pay admission in order to show off the car and the one who has the nicest car/truck/cycle or whatever they are driving win an amount of money. I have read posts here and elsewhere ,people are either for the crusing or not for it. Why cant there be a middle ground? Yea there will be loses from the business owners ,but I would rather loose money than a life be lost because of uncontrolled behavior from the few that will not act as a civilized person should. And we all know that if money is involved some people will show up and the trouble makers will stay away if they have to pay admission.
Joshua 24:15,,,but as for me and my house,we will serve the Lord.

why dont they have the cruising at a park and they could drive in circles all day. they do that all weekend anyway at the parks. go through cheerokee park and the others. they cruise. they don't stop them from cruising. have some officers at some of the entrances so they can only come in and out at one entrance. they have pull off points and the kids can play at the playgrounds. let the vendors sale thier products there also. this would be a win win situation for everyone. when it gets dark shut it down the park has hours anyway. have them only go one way so that the officers have some control. there is some kinda of violence in any activity that involves people in great numbers that attend. there has been death during thunder over louisville.. they don't stop that. fights, drunk people exposing themselves, people being rude and disrespectful. look at the infield i would not take a child there...this is a place known for drunks and people exposing everything....fights there also. no matter how much security they have at any event if someone wants a gun or knife in there bad enough they will find a way.
