That is a good thing to do,if you can Hikes Point.
I know this may sound like I lived a sheltered life before, but I had never seen a homeless person, until I was in Louisville in a Dr`s office up on the second or third floor and I was looking out the window and made a comment about why that person was pushing a cart with all that stuff in it,my mother-in-law told me why. That was around 18 yrs ago. I have been to Ca. more than once and seeing homeless people is common place, they are every where. They live up against building, under the piers, you name it. Not to say it is right or good.
I also wish I had enough money to shelter all those people, give them food to eat, warm clothes to wear and to let them know they are safe from harm. But this the real world and some people who live on the street choose to do so,or so I have been told.
But I still wish for Christmas what I wished in my first post, that all people would truly accept Christ and live for Him. If all people did this, there would be no homeless people,no abused women or children,no drunks killing someones family member etc etc.We would all have compassion one for the other.
You said the sky was the limit Smiler.

Joshua 24:15,,,but as for me and my house,we will serve the Lord.

A cure for Chronic Pancreatitis.
Or at least more education for the Dr.s who treat us all like Alcoholics or Drug addicts.

Wow, I think all my humanitarian wishes are covered. Guess I'll go for a few material things since someone asked. Smiler

1. I really need a 2.6Ghz MacBook Pro with 4Gb RAM, 200Gb hard drive (7200rpm), 17" high-resolution glossy screen, and Photoshop CS3 pre-installed. And World of Warcraft. Ok, I don't really need it... but it would be cool.

2. Xbox 360

3. Holga 120N camera ($30?)

4. Canon 1Ds Mark III

5. Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens

6. AlienBees B800 Flash Unit (three since "the sky's the limit" lol)

7. A 2002 BMW M-Roadster. Any color is fine. Smiler

8. 30" Apple monitor to accompany #1.

9. Big screen HDTV for #2.

10. Venti marble mocha macchiato from Starbucks. Or a gift card.

11. Gitzo G1348 Inter Pro Studex Mk2 carbon fiber tripod.

12. BH-55 with B2 AS II clamp from Really Right Stuff (to go with #11).

13. B150-B Macro Focusing Rail also from Really Right Stuff.

14. Bose "Lifestyle" entertainment system. (This one is for my mom... something I'll never be able to buy her but the one piece of electronics she always talks about.)

15. The ultimate Apple computer: Mac Pro with the following options:

Two 3.0Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon (that's 8 core processing)

16GB Ram

RAID Card

Four 750GB 7200-rpm Serial 3Gb/s Hard drives in performance raid configuration

NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 512MB Graphics Card

Dual 30" Apple Cinema HD Displays

That's my dream machine... a little north of $16,000 so it's beyond the realm of what constitutes a "practical" solution to my computing needs. But since we're dreaming...

Ahh, that was fun. Smiler

I got what I wanted this Year and then some I had family and friends to share with me on Christmas and that is Christmas to me plus it is Jesus's Birthday He is a tremendous and Spiritual Man in my life too..

My dream was getting The Everyday Life Bible from Joyce Meyers and I got it from Santa and She blesses me with each inspiring word she says. God is Good and will continue in my life and I hope in 2008 that I can show someone and help someone Know Jesus even more and what he has done for me.. He is my father and no one will take that away and I will continue to pray in public and maybe it will be rub off to a lost soul..

Nothing is going to come in between me and My Lord..

God Bless anyone who reads this and know God Loves You and he is the conqueor of all Satan's power of over any of U.... He is the answer to your life and the Bible has all the answers U need to ask to Jesus...
