I would just like for everyone to relax and be happy!! It seems everyone is so stressed this time of year..and it is supposed to be a magical and wonderful time. No worries!!

This evening on WAVE 3 NEWS I listened to a report about children living on the streets and old memories stirred within me from my youth, when I had to live on the streets. If I could wish for anything, I would wish for the children living on the streets here in Louisville as well as across the river from Louisville, to have some goodness to enrich their struggles on the streets. Something to eat, something warm to wear, shoes, coats, blankets, and all the other things young boys and girls need to survive alone out on the streets. Before hearing the news tonight, I would have wished that I could find an affordable used 4' x 6' lightweight trailer that I could use to transport my music equipment and lights around town for whatever jobs might turn up in the future. But now my heart longs to see some help for these children of the street. Here in our home, we have decided to gather together what cash we can and we're going to seek out the woman who talked about the homeless children, so we can give her the cash to use for what she might think the kids could best use. If the sky's the limit, anything you could do to help these kids would be sincerely appreciated, by them as well as by my family and I.

I'd like to have enough money to dress like I didn't have a cent to my name and wonder the streets and make Christmas great for those in need. I would also find a family with absolutely nothing and pay their utilities until Spring and buy their kids loads for Christmas.
Beyond that I would like fired everyone associated with the current Child Protective Services, and brought in officials with common sense that know how to protect innocent kids.
