Thanks for asking, Angel. Actually, I'm only 46 years old. RCA Victor was before my time. The name RCA Victor was adopted by RCA after they acquired the Victor Talking Machine company in 1929. The talking machine company was perhaps best known for their logo, "His Master's Voice". (The fox terrier staring down the Gramophone is named, "Nipper" by the way.) I think the 'Victor' part was dropped sometime prior to the 1970's.
