It was a routine Tuesday night with Henry's older sister at t-ball practice. But it ended in a way no one could have ever predicted when Henry was hit by a swinging bat.

"As soon as he was struck, he immediately went down," Perez says.

The bat was swung by his older sister. Perez says he was just trying to walk up and be closer to her. The family is not releasing her name or age.
