On June 17, 2008, the United States House of Representatives debated House Resolution 1275, "Honoring the life of Timothy John Russert, Jr., public servant, political analyst, and author." The bill was sponsored by Rep. Brian Higgins and co-sponsored by 89 other representatives, and was passed unanimously (395-0).
Even with all the mud-slinging during his life, not one of this critics in the administration could vote against this and it is a fine tribute to this great American.
