A requested search of police records yesterday turned up the report of Parrish's encounter with another driver in Jeffersonville on March 31. The half-page report showed that Parrish called police that morning after an incident on Allison Lane. The report listed the incident as road rage but did not give details of what happened or mention a gun. It described the other vehicle as a green Honda with a Kentucky license plate and occupied by a black male driver.

The March incident came up when Detective John Beury questioned Parrish Tuesday about the Mosier shooting, Jeffersonville Police Maj. Charlie Thompson said yesterday.

Thompson said that Parrish told Beury that she pulled her gun during the earlier incident.

"We wouldn't have known if she hadn't told us," Thompson said.
additional details of the incident were provided yesterday by 2X, who said he met with Parrish at her request. He said Parrish told him the Honda driver had been following her and got out of his car and approached her vehicle in an aggressive manner after she pulled over on Allison Lane.

"And she said she pulled out her weapon and aimed it at him and told him to get back. And then he fled and then she called the police department," 2X said.

I just don't know about shooting him. These days some chicks could beat him up. Wink No seriously though,it would be much interesting to me if we could get some more information on this. If I could see for myself, the first thing I would look for is did she have an out? Second thing I'd want to know is why was her first impulse shooting someone. About her and the son, there was NO reason to exit the car in my honest opinion so we agree on that they should be charged.

Just Great!! I'm just starting h*ll everywhere I go, not meaning to of course... How about you my dear, how are you and your family???

Louisville Metro Police are working with Jeffersonville Police to enhance a security video that shows some of the confrontation from a road-rage shooting on a Jeffersonville street last week, police said.

Jeffersonville Detective Todd Hollis said today the video taken by a gas station’s security camera may provide more information about what occurred before and after the shooting along 10th Street.

Me and some friends went over this. Nobody is 100% sure what happened from my understanding. There are supposedly a few different tales,I even heard(rumor mill) there was a camera somewhere that caught it. I haven't seen it,as I said that's the rumor mill story.

Second: There's a whole lot of should have and shouldn't have. Each person is responsible for what they say and do.

Third: Myself being him- I would NOT have gotten off my bike to approach anyone. If that driver did something that almost caused me to get hurt or worse,I would have gotten a license plate number and called the police. Safer! May not get anything done about it or any satisfaction out of it,maybe you will, but it's SAFER!

Myself being her: I keep the doors locked at all times already. Window doesn't go all the way down as my own rule. I would have looked for an out. Can I drive off? Can I back up and drive off? If no,then I would have called 911 to report where I am and that a man is angry and approaching me and I have nowhere to go. Automatically the 911 dispatcher will tell you DO NOT GET OUT. Tell them where I am. I'd tell him with the window closed of course that the Police are on their way and to get away from my car. ***This is providing he doesn't have a weapon in his hand.***

If I see he has a weapon,I'm ripping up cars and pavement to get out one way or another. Then I'll call 911 and explain. Or if I have my stungun on me then he'll get zapped.

I personally wouldn't have even thought to shoot him. I would have been looking for an out to take off. At NO point would I get out until an officer got there.

Surveillance camera? More than just a rumor. One of the cameras at the nearby Thortons did capture the incident but the image, I understand, was somewhat grainy due to the distance involved. Police are trying to enhance the video to assist in their investigation.

As for what the motorists both should have done, you're right on M.J. The cyclist was very stupid for getting off his bike and ever approaching the woman's car. Did he 'deserve' the bullet> No. Stupid? Yes!

As for Ms. Parrish, she was probably not nearly as threatened as she makes herself out to be. It was daylight. There was a ton of people around. She was inside an SUV. He was not displaying a gun. Driving off, even if it meant damaging other vehicles was the smart thing to do. Roll Eyes

Foresight is wonderful, too bad God didn't give that gift to us. As I stated earlier you just can't approach anyone now days. America has become a hostile place since 9/11 people trust other Americans less. Individuals must understand that fact, and having road rage with another person then getting off your motorcycle then walk up to another person and draw back your fist as though you're going to strike them, warrants a deadly response.

You're asking this woman to wreck her vehicle and put her and her son and others might I add while she plows into traffic to avoid an aggressive biker. I wonder if that were a man in that SUV would he got off his bike??? The lady did the right thing, she did not endanger anyone else but the aggressor, could you imagine plowing into traffic injuring or worst killing some innocent by standers in her attempt to flee. Yea Right!! You would be complaining about that action too!!! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
