Ok first: I don't honestly know what I would have done until put in that situation. I'd hope I'd bang up a few cars trying to get away before shooting as my first impulse.

Me and some friends went over this. Nobody is 100% sure what happened from my understanding. There are supposedly a few different tales,I even heard(rumor mill) there was a camera somewhere that caught it. I haven't seen it,as I said that's the rumor mill story.

Second: There's a whole lot of should have and shouldn't have. Each person is responsible for what they say and do.

Third: Myself being him- I would NOT have gotten off my bike to approach anyone. If that driver did something that almost caused me to get hurt or worse,I would have gotten a license plate number and called the police. Safer! May not get anything done about it or any satisfaction out of it,maybe you will, but it's SAFER!

Myself being her: I keep the doors locked at all times already. Window doesn't go all the way down as my own rule. I would have looked for an out. Can I drive off? Can I back up and drive off? If no,then I would have called 911 to report where I am and that a man is angry and approaching me and I have nowhere to go. Automatically the 911 dispatcher will tell you DO NOT GET OUT. Tell them where I am. I'd tell him with the window closed of course that the Police are on their way and to get away from my car. ***This is providing he doesn't have a weapon in his hand.***

If I see he has a weapon,I'm ripping up cars and pavement to get out one way or another. Then I'll call 911 and explain. Or if I have my stungun on me then he'll get zapped.

I personally wouldn't have even thought to shoot him. I would have been looking for an out to take off. At NO point would I get out until an officer got there.

Now folks let's talk about this issue about the biker. Can any of you honestly say none of you haven't had a close call with today's drivers in Louisville. I can't believe no one have mentioned that the biker not only walked up to her vehicle, he had the sand to throw a punch at her. Yes his butt deserved that bullet. I also believe that the lady should be charged for kicking the guy once he was no longer a threat.

Hey man,how you been!?!
I just don't know about shooting him. These days some chicks could beat him up. Wink No seriously though,it would be much interesting to me if we could get some more information on this. If I could see for myself, the first thing I would look for is did she have an out? Second thing I'd want to know is why was her first impulse shooting someone. About her and the son, there was NO reason to exit the car in my honest opinion so we agree on that they should be charged.

I understand where you're coming from.

On the flipside of that, there seems to be too many "young bucks" rolling all up on our bumpers or zig zagging between us. I've had them on bike night cut out in front of me to get too Hooters. Ok so was it really worth you almost getting hit to rush into Hooters parking lot??? I'm turning from Dixie to Upper Hunters. Hooters is right there on the corner. My front end is right there at the entrence/exit of Hooters and some young buck races thru my lane right into Hooters parking lot. I had to slam on my brakes. I could hear other bikers yelling at him, calling him a dumb butt(only they weren't so nice) and saying she should have hit your ignorant bleep. I was pretty mad. I was mad because I don't want to be the one who a young man is stuck under my car or what have you because he thinks he's so cool he can't be hurt or killed.

I was coming from Valley Station area one day. Real nice day too! It was going quite well until grrrr, another young buck rolled up on me. I was sitting at a stop light. He was so close he could have extended his arm to prop himself up on the bed of my truck. I was like what the heck is he doing so close!?! How can I take off with him right there even with my back tire!?!??
So I turned my head to let him know dude that ain't right back off. He smiles. GRRR! Mad No no no,I want you to get back. So I stuck my head out and said Please move back you're too close. He smiles and waves at me. Roll Eyes So I just said ohhh forget it and I took off slow because I was scared he'd get hurt. He wasn't scared for himself but I was for him. So we get up some speed and he's STILL right beside the divers side tire! His front tire is even with my back tire. So I tried to get over I wanted away from him,but I couldn't go anywhere. Like I said it was nice out, everyone and their granny was out. So I found a side street to turn on just to get away from him.
About 2 weeks later a friend of mine(another biker) said he chewed him out. Apparently my complaining about it,and him telling how he was riding some chick in a truck was told to the same guy. I know he got a good chewing out too!

It is a sad state when "EQUALITY" does not matter. That woman should have only pulled the trigger as a last resort..

Do you know for sure she didn't have a choice? As for her and the son kicking him,...whatever they actually did, that is wrong no doubt.

When the man wakes up and gives his version of events, witness statements are collected, and the woman tells her side, we will see if it was self defense or estrogen with a hair trigger.

He couldn't have opened it if she had locked it. Seems so far she was already thinking about the gun. Guess we'll see.
