The shooting occurred at 2:45 p.m. on 10th Street near Allison Lane. Several witnesses said they saw Mosier driving erratically, stop in front of Parrish at the traffic light and approach her car.
Okay, so we know he was driving erratically. So, an excuse:
quote:
Mosier acknowledged driving his motorcycle erratically before the shooting, Thompson said, but said he was trying to get away from Parrish. Thompson also said Mosier told detectives he was having brake problems that may have added to the perception of erratic driving.
But in the WLKY32 interview:
quote:
Mosier said the pavement was uneven and there were railroad tracks. He said after being tailgated for some time, he drove in between two cars to get away from her.
He has all kinds of reasons for the way he was driving, doesn't he? If I had to guess, he cut her off or something and about caused a wreck, and it ticked her off.
I'm a bit annoyed that I can't find the article it was in, but I KNOW it was written in one very RECENT article (on this site, I believe) that Wilder mentioned that Mosier's motorcycle had Handicap tags, as if that somehow made a difference in the way he was driving and that along should have made Parrish back off. I'm getting the feeling this might have been removed from the article. Perhaps it was out of context, or perhaps a certain someone requested it removed?
As an asisde: Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what kind of handicap you could have and still get tags for a motorcycle? That seems a little odd to me. I know they have them, but handling a motorcycle takes both hands, both legs, both eyes, good balance, and being quite heavy, you should probably have a good heart and lungs, too. Maybe I'm missing something?
Don't start nothing it won't be nothing.
