Why did she have her window down in the first place?
I always have my window down. I would have rolled my window up as soon as I seen he was leaving his bike. My doors are already locked. [/color]
My point exactly...you would have rolled your window up as soon as you saw him coming towards you AND you would have stayed in your car...not left the window down and then opened your own car door. The only reason she did all that was cause she knew she had back-up. Let's say for the sake of argument that traffic was all around her and she couldn't get out of it to get away from him coming towards her. If he was clearly unarmed, then roll your windows up, locks your doors and shoot only when that's the last resort. That should be a given for ANY person who has a permit to carry a gun. Simply having a permit to carry shouldn't make it open season on someone. I agree.

From what I read, they are both guilty in some form or another. But what is the important thing here is who opened the door? If she did, then she was the one acting aggresive. If he did, then she did what she felt to protect herself and her son,and I dont blame her one bit. BUT,given she is guilty of that sort of thing just 3 short months ago,not 35 years,is another thing.{The way I was 35 years ago is nothing compared to who I am today,I wasnt very old at the time } It shows a history. IF she is the aggresive one here she needs to be charged with attempted murder and assualt also. IF he is the aggresive one here then he needs to be charged with assualt. Who care`s what color they both are, somebody is at fault here and that one needs to pay for what they did.
Joshua 24:15,,,but as for me and my house,we will serve the Lord.

It was all about choices. He had the choice to flip her the bird, cuss her,get a plate number, stay on his bike,OR be stupid and do what he did which is get off his bike and approach her. She had the choice to stomp on the gas and get away, stay in her car,not let her son out,get his plate number, call the police,OR be stupid ,get her gun,sit and wait, open the door, shoot, let her son out. Why did she even have to open the door if her window was down? She can't stick it out,aim and fire thru the opened window? Sounds like some bullcrap to me.

Hmmm. <<He ran up on my car getting ready to open up my door>>
So here she dmits he didn't open the door. She assumes he was going to.
<<<(and) hit me with his fist.">>>
From her own words she said "Yes. He ran up on my car getting ready to open up my door (and) hit me with his fist."Getting ready to,NOT that he did.
