"She said, she couldn't go... her window was down and door unlocked. She opened the door to push him backward. She said he shoved the door shut. She said he had his fist raised,” said Det. Hollis.

(WHAS11) - New details continue to emerge about the Jeffersonville road rage shooting that happened on Wednesday.

The victim has had trouble with the law before. And one key element police are waiting for is the shooting victim’s side of the story. He’s still at University Hospital, recovering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Doctors performed another surgery Thursday morning.

While everyone waits to hear what he has to say, WHAS has found out more about the pasts of both the victim and the shooter.

Police show that Mosier, the victim, faced murder charges back in 1973, but pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact. And in 2006, Mosier filed a lawsuit claiming a man hit his car and his person for no reason. The defendant paid Mosier $3,100.

And Jeffersonville police say Parrish, the shooter, doesn’t have a criminal record, but she called in another road rage incident on March 31 of this year.

Now, who should we fear more?? This has happen before with this so called victim. What I see is a lot of racial emotions at play regarding this case.

Just My Opinoin!!!

Seems you are the one who keeps drawing on the race card. I didn't even know that she and her son were black until the next day, and I had already posted my opinion, which hasn't changed one bit since the incident first happened.

But let's just say it were the other way around...that the shooter had been white and the biker had been black...you know as well as I do that the race card would been in play from the get-go and we ALL would have known that it was a black person that had been shot. It's very unfortunate that we can't just all be people...no matter what your color.

Mosier's instance was in 1973. Geez...what's that...35 years ago and he's now what 59...which made him 24. What trouble did YOU get in at that age? People can and do change in 35 years!!! Roll Eyes

And in 2006, the Defendant paid Mosier...now how does that make HIM the bad guy??? The Defendant obviously was at fault to have paid Mosier.

I'm not sure where you are trying to go with your statements. I've listened to both 911 calls made by Parrish and she is hotheaded in both of them. There isn't no speculation in those 911 tapes...what you hear is what you get!!!

Wow!!! Murder is to be dismissed?? And you want to talk about a race card. Do you realize that major crimes such as murder do not have statute of limitations. Mosier has shown his capacity to do physical harm to another person, even take another life. And I don't care if he was 18 did he not commit murder?? Unreal!!!!

Don't start nothing it won't be nothing.

But do you know any of the details of this "murder charge"? All I have read is that he was charged but pled guilty to accessory after the fact, which could mean anything. Do you know for a FACT that HE was the one who took another life? Or did he plead guilty to accessory after the fact because he simply got involved one way or another?

Furthermore, I truly don't know how that incident can be correlated to this one...especially if no other facts are known about that charge - from 35 years ago!

And I know all about statute of limitations. Seems to me he probably did his time then...based on what he pled to.

But the question remains...cannot people change in 35 years?

I don't have to know any of the details of his murder charge, check the law.

"Only previous felony convictions can be introduced into evidence. However, the record of "priors" can have an impact on sentencing, as with prior drunk driving convictions requiring mandatory jail sentences, and "three strikes, you're out," providing for extended sentences for the third felony conviction."

http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/prior

All this does is establish that he has shown to take things to the next level. And the lady was known to take it just as far. A deadly mix, they were destined to meet. If you don't think so ask the person that was killed by Mosier in the 70s, I'm sure that person would agree with me if they still a had a voice.
