Why is there a question of legality concerning smart cars? We let persons ride bicycles on almost all roads in Kentucky other than highways? I am all for going green and like the idea of smart cars, but if the issue is safety, we need to look at bicycles going 5 to 10 mph and nearly stopping traffic, instead of smart cars. I bike also, just pointing out the irony.

I don't know the basis for the original problem with the smart cars. I thought it was just a highway issue. If the problem is they can't go fast enough to keep up with traffic then they should be banned from interstates for sure...
