the hay I got is an alfalfa mix. I would guess pure alfalfa at these rates would be $8 a bale.

Wow,you guys are paying 5 bucks a bale now? We bought hay from a guy in Mooresville for 2.50 a bale,and that was a couple of months ago. With the rain we have had ,you would think it would be a little cheaper than 5.oo a bale. That is what we paid last year for hay and it cost us around a thousand bucks for hay. We now have 7 horses ,2cows,3cats,and 1 dog. My Bobo died monday. He was almost 14.I sure do miss him. He was my buddy and protector. He went everywhere I went while I was outside. Life is hard when you loose someone you love.
