I am kind of in the middle here. I think it was a good call on the behalf of keeping traffic down for emergencies. I think it will lesson the possibilities for more crime in that certain area(too many folks drinking,...in one area well we all know someone dunce is gonna wreck it for the rest). However,NOW I am wondering what those folks are gonna do. They gonna be hanging all over my neck of the woods? They gonna be hanging all over French Toast's neck of the woods? Where them there folks gonna hang next?

I don't think that is necessarily the city's responsibility. Many of these people come from out of town because Derby cruising has acquired such a grand reputation for having no restraints.

No one's barring these folks from Thunder Over Louisville or any of the other Derby Festival activities. These folks would be up in arms if even one Derby activity was billed as "whites only". What gives? What would Dr. King think of these self-imposed racial separation we're seeing? I think it's a very sad thing.
