Everyone seems to think its "of the devil" and not a nice place. Well that's BS. Everyone I know doesn't do anything wrong on that website, yet we still get called to the office and punished for it? Outrageous.

If you do it from home, then why are they punshing at school for it?? I dont understand that. And I cant believe that any parent that has any sence at all would even allow any punshiment from school officals, because,as was said,it isnt anything to them. How do they know it is you? Do you use your real name? If you do , not very smart. Just watch what you say on those sites. I went there in the forum, and I couldnt believe what a supposed 14 yr old had to say. Just be careful.

Joshua 24:15,,,but as for me and my house,we will serve the Lord.

Usually you can use your first and last name for search purposes only but I put my first name, and then 'Something' as my last. We know there are some freaky people out there...but some people are just ignorant. Nonetheless, if you are doing it at home there shouldn't be a punishment from the school..yet they claim they are protecting us and suspend us if there is anything inappropiate on it. Idiotic.

Perhaps it would be helpful to this discussion if 'inappropriate' was defined. Are there discussions about particular schools, teachers, other students...? What does your school deem 'inappropriate'? What specific punishment is being meted out for it? I'm just thinking there must be more to this topic than has been discussed so far. Since I have grandchildren (!) who might be involoved, I'd really like to know more about it.

[COLOR:PURPLE]Well I'm not fully aware of what they consider "inappropiate" other than the underage drinking pictures that some kids put up because they think its "cool". If you are that dumb to put pictures of yourself doing illegal things, then you should be punished...but they are punishing kids and not making it clear why they are being punished....[COLOR]

Wave news reports on that very thing (underage drinking). Says a 19 year old crashes car and kills someone. He was drunk. I for the life of me DO NOT see how it's soooo hard to stay in the house and not be driving all over the place. Sad he is 19 but he is old enough to know better. Mad Mad
