pot, kettle, black-
Like you've ever been civil.

And like a child, you're resorting to the old 'he started it'. Roll Eyes

You have made some good valid points, Toast, regarding health care NOT being an entitlement.
Additionally, I have friends in England where they have socialized medicine.... very tragic results. Access to specialists is severely restricted and the delay in treatment does not speak well for the system. They are so accustomed to the system that hospital emergency rooms do not even accept private insurance cards for treatment... just give it away.
And did I mention the 16% sales tax? We REALLY don't want to go down that path!

Yet england spends less of their GDP on health care than we do, they live longer on average than we do and the average person in England is healthier than the average American.

Justin: You like to throw supposed facts and figures out by the bushel and then call someone ignorant or a moron when they dare question you. I suspect you won't get a lot of debate from the people who know how you operate. Roll Eyes

Unsubstantiated "facts" and statistically insignicant comparisons are useless and deceptive.
It is easy enough to google and see the pitfalls of universal health care and the incredible cost to tax payers and society. Then talk to real people who have to live with it....
