It looks like Ernie Fletcher will win the Republican primary with over 50% of the vote. His problem is that round two will be a lot harder. Kentucky is overwhelmingly Democratic and the Democratic voters (disenchanted with the shenanigans of the Paul Patton administration) aren’t likely to cross party lines again to vote for someone who has proven themselves to be just another two-faced politician.

Yes, Ernie, I realize all the money you can throw at your Democratic opponent but Kentucky voters are half as stupid as you give them credit for. Your school-yard-bullies and pigtail commercials were pretty pathetic. You're going to have to do a lot better than that to win in November. I'm betting you won't be up to the challenge.
