The state transportation department deserves a round of praise for acting on this so quickly.
http://www.wave3.com/global/Story.asp?s=3960590 I know this is somewhat of old news, but I feel pretty strongly about this. The Kentucky Transportation Department of Highways has been trying to get cable barriers put on Gene Snyder and everywhere else for about 5 years or longer! Right after these 4 people died, everyone starts getting angry again--Well, The only reason KTDH hadn't put them in yet was because they didn't have the money. That's a big hunk of money. And no one is ever happy with the state government which really makes me angry. They do their best(except Fletcher) to finish projects quickly and if you want argue that point--bring it on. I love how people think they can do soo much better than what to government does. Truth of the matter is, YOU CAN'T. As for the Eastern students who had been protesting, or pushing for these cable barriers, that really heated me. You want them to get done? Go ahead and give them a couple million dollars and your little cable barriers will be put up. Yea ok those 3 guys were MY friends too, but I wasn't blaming it on the government! It was an unfortunate thing! THINGS LIKE THAT HAPPEN. Not everything has a reason. Kay,I'm done
