I have spybot installed on my computer. I was wondering if it would hurt or slow down my computer if I also installed AD-AWARE SE and ran it also.

I don't think it will slow it down, but it doesn't help much. I have tried this a while back and found no real advanatage to it. Microsofts new tool works better than ad-aware does, however microsofts new tool sometimes gives you a few false positives.

That sounds odd to me as I run MS Anti-Spyware and it finds NONE. Then I run Panda and it finds 3-4 and removes them. Then I run Ad-Aware and it finds 7 more. Sounds to me like Ad-Aware is BEST. |
