There are a number of improvements in IE 7. The best one in my opinion is the tabbed browsing. It lets you open several windows at one time and switch back and forth by clicking on the tabs. You also have a search box at the top right-hand corner and you can set it to use your favorite search engine. You can also set up RSS feeds to get automatically get updates to blogs and other websites. Last but not least, IE 7 has a couple of security features to combat phishing (fake sites). IE 7 will automatically alert you if a site is a suspected phishing site. (Phishing sites try to imitate banking, auction, and other sites to get you to reveal personal information.)

Just a quick note on IE 7. When using IE 7, you will notice that some forms and the member center portion of WAVE 3.com will not work correctly. Our web vendor is working to make the site compatible as fast as possible.

Kudos for Microsoft trying to make our Internet lives better and more convenient. HOWEVER Internet Explorer 7 is nothing more than a poor rip-off of Mozilla Firefox. It has the tabbed browsing, extra security features, plug-ins, etc. I absolutely loathe IE7.
If you want something that actually works, very stable and has tons of customizable options on it... go here Mozilla Firefox and download Firefox.
