Connecting another computer with a router ont his network causes 50% bandwidth loss
High levels of RF detected on incoming line.

A nicecast radio station is being run 24/7 from this location as well
For two day out of the week (during high traffic hours/days) The station’s braudcast experiences a brown out in service which causes clipping that insight has yet to explain despite over FOUR service calls for it.
The station has been run at this location for the last two years.

Old Louisville coffee house
Sold a 3m connection from Insight
Tested at 1m January 10th
Owners report brown outs in service

Every person I've spoken to about their service in the old Louisville or Highlands areas has had issues with lower bandwidth then they were sold and brown outs.

I suppose this horrible service is the reason why Insight Broadband outsells FastAccess DSL locally by such a wide margin. 6 Mbps is the fastest speed that AT&T offers while Insight offers 10 Mbps to its subscribers and even offers limited 20 Mbps at an extra charge.

You don't own stock in ATT by chance, huh Justin??? Wink

DSL has never outsold cable ISPs.
But they do maintain business for people who want solid connections and low prices.
There are plenty of crappy service alternatives that Americans have bought into as apposed to better quality alternatives.

Examples:
Fluoridation vs. UV treatment (gotta love them dead brain cells)
Biodiesel vs. Fossil Diesel
Petrol vs. Diesel
HDDDV and DVDDV cams vs. miniDV cams (broken time codes and useless file formats anyone)
Beta vs. VHS
DVD- vs. DVD+
30mpg engines vs. 50mpg engines

But that isn’t the point. The point is that Insight’s service does not serve at the speeds it is sold for.
Which it does not.

Thank you Big Grin

I've always registered at or near the advertised speed whenever I test my desktop computer at www.pcpitstop.com . I have received great service from Insight over the past ten years so I can only guess that you either have an axe to grind with Insight or that you don't know what you're talking about. The latter wouldn't be a suprise at all given you naivete on other subjects. Roll Eyes

YOU have maybe and I'm not saying that ALL insight customers don't test at the speeds they are sold.
But there are plenty who do not and there is plenty of proof to that point.
