I have a beautiful young japanese maple tree that I planted last spring. I just noticed the other day (06-08-08) that there were some leaves with large chunks eaten off of it and some holes. I looked at the rest of the tree and leaves and did not see any aphids or any other bugs. I do not want this to get out of hand. What could this be? And how can I stop this. THANKS TERRY!
It might be beetles, but unless you actually identify the pest, you can't do anything about controlling it. Keep an eye on it to see if you can find the culprit...
