I have a Pin Oak Tree that was just planted a month ago. I went out of town for the weekend, and with the extreme heat, I came back and the majority of the leaves are dried and brown. There are still some green leaves, but very few. Other than watering the tree every day, is there anything I can do to save my tree or is it too late?

Keeping your fingers crossed too might help a bit, but that's about all. It may recover.

I, too, am having a time with some dogwood's and red bud's that I planted about 2 months ago. I am having the same problem with the leaves curling up, drying, and turning brown. I'm not sure what to do. I have fertilized them 2 times now and water them often. I can't imagine having to water trees every day.
